The Building Outstanding Opportunities for Students to Thrive (BOOST) program aims to bridge the gap between financial aid, wages, and the cost of living for students attending the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) and pursuing careers in clinical, allied, and behavioral healthcare. The program enrolled 251 current students to receive a guaranteed income of $1,000 per month over a one-year period, from November 2024 through October 2025.
