West Hollywood Pilot for Guaranteed Income | West Hollywood, CA

Launched in August 2022.

The City, in partnership with the National Council of Jewish Women, Los Angeles, launched the first Guaranteed Income pilot in the country that provides cash-based assistance to low-income West Hollywood residents aged 50+. Through a Randomized Control Trial administered by CGIR, 25 randomly-selected participants received $1,000 unconditional cash transfers each month for 18 months.
